Mediacentral听Retention Policy (in a nutshell)
- Content on the Mediacentral听system will be permanently deleted after seven (7) years, unless a written request is made to extend this.
- Any content older than 24 months听and not played within a 24 month period听will become archived by the system.
- Content will be archived for five (5) years and may only be recovered by the听Educational Media听team
- Any content within the archive for more than five (5) years may be permanently deleted automatically, unless a written request to keep is made.
- Any content that is republished to another service will have its clock reset to the start of the seven (7) year cycle
- A request for a听copy of personal content can be made at anytime.听
- Anyone leaving 麻豆传媒视频网站, should transfer the rights to ownership to anothe individual听where this is considerd applicable. This especially relevant for departmental content created for general use.
- Where a 麻豆传媒视频网站 system听user leaves and does not transfer ownership, any departmental content will be deemed to be under the ownership of听the Head of Department
