Sustainable development is one of the major global themes of the 21st century and Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ has an important role to play in driving sustainable development. Action is needed from the whole Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ community to achieve a more sustainable future. One way of achieving this is to become a Green Champion for your department and to participate in Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøվ’s sustainability engagement programme Green Impact.

What is Green Impact?

Green Impact is a Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾-wide environmental competition that allows departments to improve their environmental and social impact. Departments form teams and complete an online workbook to green their department. Teams are audited by students and rewarded for their achievements at Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøվ’s Sustainability Awards.
