Liisa Tuhkanen

Present status: MPhil candidate, PGTA

Research: Liisa is a PhD student at the 麻豆传媒视频网站 School of Slavonic and East European Studies. Her research interests focus around the issues of migration, identity, hybridity and cultural adaptation, and her doctoral study makes use of interdisciplinary mixed methods approach to uncover the factors affecting acculturation processes of Russian-speaking migrants living in Finland. Before starting her doctorate, Liisa worked as a journalist at Thomson Reuters.
