Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾

We are proud to announce that SSEES was awarded Platinum in the Office category at the Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ Sustainability Awards yesterday. The Awards celebrated Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøվ’s commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and looking at ways of being ‘greener’. SSEES this year has installed swift boxes outside the building, introduced a bug hotel and encouraged all staff and students to partake in the Big Switch Off campaign, amongst a range of other activities designed to save energy and resources.

The awards themselves are made of up-cycled teak, which was taken during the refurbishment of the Bloomsbury Theatre. All winners also received a small cactus to represent the endurance of the Green Impact project.
