ACCELERATE

Accelerating translational research at Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ through training and development.

ACCELERATE LOGO

ACCELERATE is a set of interlinkedÌýportfolios of trainingÌýevents,Ìýexperiences and resourcesÌýaimed at upskilling the Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ research community in translational research through technical training (), skills development (), and encouraging innovative thinking (), respectively.

‘Choose your own adventure’ by taking part in specific initiatives (or all of them!) from the above portfolios depending on your interests and need.ÌýYou might like to start with ACCELERATE Potential- an introductory, self-paced module on translational research.


ACCELERATE is aimed at researchers at Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ who are interested in how to widen the impact of their research, particularly in healthcare, and the skills needed to do so. We welcome and encourage participation from all research disciplines.Ìý

ACCELERATE Potential is an online, introductory module outlining the key elements of translational research and where to find support.

 ACCELERATE Expertise is a portfolio of initiatives on technical training to support translational research.

ACCELERATE Success is a portfolio of initiatives on skills development to support networking and communicating translational research ideas.

ACCELERATE Innovation is a portfolio of initiatives to support innovative thinking and creativity for healthcare innovation.

ACCELERATE forms part of a wider, Wellcome-Trust-funded initiative to increase translational research capacity across Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾. We, the Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ Academic Careers Office, collaborate with the Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ Translational Research Office on this project.
