UPC Progression Scholarships

The Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ UPC Progression Scholarships aim to encourage UPCSE and UPCH students to continue to undergraduate study at Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾.

Key information

Value:Ìý£5,000 (perÌýyear, for the duration of the undergraduate programme)
Available to:ÌýStudentsÌýenrolled on Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾'s UPCSE (PreparatoryÌýCertificate for Science and Engineering) or UPCH (PreparatoryÌýCertificate for Humanities and Social Sciences) programme
Selection criteria:ÌýAcademic merit
Eligible fee status:Ìý´¡±ô±ô
Eligible programmes:ÌýAll full-time undergraduate programmesÌý
Additional eligibility criteria:ÌýAnnual renewal of the scholarships is based on satisfactory progress of the scholars who areÌýexpected to maintain an academic standard equivalent to at least an upper second-class honoursÌý(2:1) throughout the undergraduate programme.
Deadline: There is no application procedure. All Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ UPCSE/UPCH students holding an offer of admissionÌýfor undergraduate studies at Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ will be considered.

Eligibility

Candidates will be:

  • enrolled on Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾'s UPCSE or UPCH programme
  • admitted for undergraduate studies at Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾.

Selection

Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic performance. The selected scholars will be the UPCSE/UPCH students with the highest academic performance throughout theÌýUPCSE/UPCH programme. Financial circumstances are not taken into account.


How to apply

There is no application procedure. All Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ UPCSE/UPCH students holding an offer of admissionÌýfor undergraduate studies at Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ will be considered.


Results

The Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ Centre for Languages and International Education will make its recommendation inÌýAugust, and the successful candidates can expect to be officially notified in September.
