Thomas Booker

Thomas Booker is the Programme Manager for the UKPRP-funder  Consortium and a research associate at Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ and the . He is also a psychodynamic psychotherapist, having trained at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust. He has previously worked as a researcher on the  project at the Unit for Social and Community Psychiatry in Newham (Queen Mary University of London and the East London NHS Foundation Trust) and on the Tavistock Adult Depression Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ (). His main areas of interest include Epistemic Trust, adolescent mental health, friendship, the application of psychoanalytic ideas to social issues and race. Thomas is African-American and French, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and Politics from the University of Warwick, an MSc in Theoretical Psychoanalytic Studies from Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾, and an MA in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from the University of Essex.
