Biosciences students win 麻豆传媒视频网站 Student Covid-19 Recovery Challenge (SCRC) to prevent plastic pollution
Three Biosciences students won 1st Prize in the 麻豆传媒视频网站 Student Covid-19 Recovery Challenge with their idea to prevent plastic pollution from increased PPE use as result of the pandemic.
The aim was to develop siRNA nanocomplexes that mediate effective silencing of airway epithelial ENaC in vitro and in vivo with functional correction of epithelial ion and fluid transport.
Genetic and bioinformatic analyses have identified missense mutations in GRIN2B encoding the NMDA receptor GluN2B subunit in autism, intellectual disability, Lennox Gastaut and West Syndromes.
