What is your fondest memory from your time at Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾?

I was thoroughly impressed by the depth and breadth of the curriculum, which covered a wide range of topics pertinent to fetal health and prenatal genetics. From the fundamentals of embryology to advanced diagnostic techniques and ethical considerations, the course provided a comprehensive overview of the complexities involved in managing fetal and genetic anomalies.

Please tell us a bit about the work you are doing now.

I am currently in training to become maternal and fetal medicine specialist.

How did your Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ degree help you get to where you are now?

I found the course to be exceptionally enlightening and beneficial to my professional development in this specialized field. Not only did the course provide me with a wide range of knowledge on topics pertinent to fetal health and prenatal care; the course also introduced me to important individuals in the field, which has significantly broadened my professional network and opened doors of opportunity. 

What have been your career highlights?

I'm training to achieve board certification in maternal and fetal medicine. A highlight was achieving a PhD in fetal surgery with a focus on spina bifida aperta.

What would be your advice for current students?

• Focus on building a solid foundation in relevant sciences.
• Seek opportunities to gain clinical experience that the course provides.
• Get involved in research projects.
• Attend conferences, seminars, and networking events to connect with peers and professionals in the field.
