The new podcast explores the lived experiences of Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøվ’s Black staff and students through the lens of higher education.

Black Lives at Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ isÌýa newÌýpodcastÌýseriesÌýamplifying and sharingÌýthe voices of Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾'s Black staff and students. In each episode,Ìýthree people fromÌýtheÌýÂ鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ community, talk about theirÌýexperiences of race, racialisation and systemic racism, and explore whatÌýÂ鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ needsÌýto change in order to be better. Each episode focuses on a specific group of people: academics, professional services staff and students from across Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾.

Black Lives at Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ is hosted byÌýTundeÌýBanjokoÌýOBE, aÌýsocial justice advocate, Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ alumnus and the founder of multiple initiativesÌýsuch asÌýMaking the Leap, the UK Social Mobility AwardsÌýandÌýBlack Charity Leaders.
