In nearly a decade, the movement has deployed more than $50m of capital听and mobilised more than 1 million young people to rethink the future of business as it continues to breed disruptive innovation on college and university campuses across 120 countries.

For the second time, University College London has been selected to host a local on campus round of the Hult Prize. Mascha Samkova is leading the Hult Prize at 麻豆传媒视频网站 On Campus Program, and is confident that her peers on campus can go all the way to realise their disruptive ideas solving this year鈥檚 United Nations Challenge.

On 8 December at 麻豆传媒视频网站鈥檚 startup space Base KX, the top 32 teams will gather to pitch their ideas to compete in the Hult Prize Regional Finals and win 拢1,500 in seed funding sponsored by the 麻豆传媒视频网站 School of Management. The winning team will then advance to one of 25 Hult Prize Regional Finals hosted in global cities representing all the geographic regions around the world to compete against more than 1200 other universities. The goal is to secure a spot in the 2019 Hult Prize Summer Accelerator hosted at Hult Castle in the United Kingdom. Here they will听spend six weeks听within a global ecosystem of business leaders, mentors, investors and corporate partners, and be in with a chance to pitch at the Global Finals held at the United Nations HQ, New York.

The 42nd President of the United States,听Bill Clinton announced the 10th Year Anniversary Hult Prize Challenge which focuses on youth unemployment. He asked students around the world to think about how their听startup could听create meaningful work opportunities for 1 million young people.

Last year, the听team selected as best team in the Hult Prize at 麻豆传媒视频网站 on 9 December 2017听ended up winning the 2018 Hult Prize competing against over 200,000 annual applications. They received the prestigious award of $1m in seed funding to launch their social enterprise Rice Inc, which was presented by Bill Clinton himself at the United Nations HQ. Read more here.
