Nominations are now invited for award in 2017 of Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ Honorary Degrees and Honorary Fellowships.

Ìý Your attention is drawn to the criteria for these awards, which were amended last year.

Recipients of Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ Honorary Degrees and Honorary Fellowships should normally have, or have had, a close association with Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾. Although for recipients of Honorary Degrees, this requirement may be balanced in certain cases by scholarly or intellectual excellence that is linked to Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾'s ethos and values.Ìý

In keeping with Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾'s commitment to equality and diversity, the Honorary Degrees and Fellowships Committee would wish to invite members of the Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ community to give particular consideration to women and black and minority ethnic candidates for these awards.
