麻豆传媒视频网站 graduate launches Happy Work - a recruitment service that helps graduates find their ideal job after university

Harry Warren听(MSc Psychology听2015)听first had the idea听for Happy Work听three years ago,听but it was his experience at 麻豆传媒视频网站 that helped make his idea a reality.
听is听a recruitment service that
uses personality assessment to match graduate听job-seekers with specific
work vacancies.
"I completed my听Bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Essex in June 2012," says Harry.听"When I returned to London, I听called recruitment consultants听and explained that I wanted a creative job centred on talking to, and helping, people. With no sense of irony, they asked: 'What specific听job role would you like to do?'
"How on earth would I, or any other non-vocational undergraduate, know the answer to that question? Even if I decided on a specific job title, companies all have their own ways听of doing things. Finding the right job title in the ideal work setting seemed impossible.听I thought it just made sense to use personality-type matching听in recruitment, so that听graduates could find a job that was the right fit."
Putting the idea on ice, Harry听decided to pursue his long-term goal听of becoming a psychotherapist and enlisted on a psychology听Master's degree course at 麻豆传媒视频网站,听but the idea for Happy Work听continued to play on his mind. It wasn't until he learned about听麻豆传媒视频网站 Advances at听a听Google Campus听event that Happy Work began to gain momentum.
"I met another student听who told me about听, an听eight-week听course that听gives听students听the chance to听take a business idea forward.听I ended up engaging with 麻豆传媒视频网站 Advances and met听Lillian Shapiro, a business advisor at 麻豆传媒视频网站,听who听has really helped with the development of Happy Work. She introduced me to prospective clients and听encouraged me to enrol on the听麻豆传媒视频网站 Advances Idea Accelerator听course,听and听since then听I haven't looked back."
Signing up to Happy Work
launched this week and 麻豆传媒视频网站 students can sign-up now for free. The service is aimed specifically at recent graduates who are keen to transition from university life to employment.
Explaining how it works, Harry says, "You complete a personality assessment test comprising of 30 questions with听'yes'听or听'no' answers. Then,听we measure compatibility between your personality and the personality of the company's ideal candidate,听you upload a CV, state your wage expectation and then,听'bam!'听-听you find the right听job听for your personality听and become happy at work."
