  • Applications are invited for the Fulbright-Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ Award, open to US postgraduates studying at Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾.

Each year, one award is offered to a US citizen for the first year of a postgraduate degree in any field at Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾. The Fulbright Commission and the Institute of International Education (IIE) will select the successful candidate, who will receive a £20,000 grant, to be used towards tuition fees and maintenance costs.

In making these awards the Fulbright Commission is looking not only for academic excellence but a focused application, a range of extracurricular and community activities, demonstrated ambassadorial skills, a desire to further the Fulbright Programme and a plan to work for the betterment of the home and host countries both during and after studies.

Please note that the deadline for applications for students from the US coming to Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ from September 2010 is October 2009. UK students wishing to study in the US should visit the Fulbright website for information about funding (please note the May deadline).
