Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾U's Drama Society has been a smash hit at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe - but there are still a few tickets available for their two high-profile productions.

The society's touring arm, Runaground, is performing 'King Ubu', an adaptation of Alfred Jarry's Ubu Roi by Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ student Luke Davies, and 'God', a comedy by Woody Allen, at two of the Fringe's best venues, The Pleasance and The Zoo.

Runaground producer James Hodgson, who is also president of the Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾U Drama Society, said 'God' was close to selling out after garnering rave reviews in The Scotsman newspaper, which described the show as 'as slick, precision-paced and as Woody Allen-esque as they come'.

Hodgson said: "God has been a smash-hit success. It is almost certainly going to achieve the coveted 'Official Sell-Out Status' from the Fringe Society, which is really unheard of for a student production, putting it on the same level as the Cambridge Footlights. So far, it has sold out three of its last five performances, and on average it is selling 80% of its available tickets."

'King Ubu' has also attracted excellent audiences with the Fringe Review describing it as 'a rollocking good ride, excellently staged and performed', and The List paying tribute to the 'talented ensemble cast'.

Runaground are performing 'King Ubu' at The Zoo and 'God' at The Pleasance until 31 August.
