Congratulations to Dr. Biswajoy Bagchi, Carmen Salvadores Fernandez, and Prof. Manish K. Tiwari, for publishing a paper titled "Copper nanowire embedded hypromellose: An antibacterial nanocomposite film" in the Journal of Colloid and Interface Science. Our first paper of 2022!
聽reports a novel antibacterial nanocomposite film comprising of copper nanowire impregnated biocompatible hypromellose using polyethylene glycol as a plasticiser.聽The film is flexible and shows excellent antibacterial activity聽against both Gram positive and negative bacteria at 4.8聽wt% nanowire loading with MIC values of 400聽碌g/mL and 500聽碌g/mL for聽E. coli听补苍诲听S. aureus听谤别蝉辫别肠迟颈惫别濒测.
