Description

In this module we will examine how science and other aspects of society shape each other. We will reflect on the damaging impacts of science in some contexts, and consider how interdisciplinary approaches may contribute to dealing with some of the most urgent problems we face.Ìý

In this module, you will:Ìý

  • Develop critical thinking skills about the role of science in societyÌý
  • Explore how multi- and interdisciplinary approaches can help address global challenges.Ìý
  • Develop collaboration and communication skills for interdisciplinary study and work
  • Develop core academic skills you need to succeed at university and beyond
