The research thesis should be an original piece of empirical work relevant to clinical psychology, which demonstrates the ability to apply scientific principles and undertake rigorous investigation. The thesis should be of publishable quality. It should make a distinct contribution to the knowledge of the subject and afford evidence of originality.
