Description

This intermediate-level module introduces students to the basic principles of social and historical research and the principles of good research design. The module seeks to develop students’ critical awareness of different types of research approaches, both qualitative and quantitative. In addition, it also provides them with essential research skills, covering all the steps of the process of research, from conceptualisation, data collection and analysis, to writing up, fieldwork, and research ethics.
