The Dissertation module spans two terms; spring and summer.
It has been designed to encourage the exploration of a key issue in depth and provide a supportive, academic framework within which students can develop a substantial piece of independent research within the field of art education, culture and practice.
The Dissertation can be taken via three routes:
• Practice-based research with exhibition, plus a 7,000 word written thesis.
• A placement / residency with exhibition, plus a 7,000 word written thesis
• A 16,000 word written thesis
