The module offers a practical, method-oriented approach to studying sustainable consumer behaviour, diverging from traditional theoretical learning. This module develops skills in data analysis, predictive modelling, and consumer segmentation, utilising computational techniques to interpret sustainable consumer choices. ÌýYou will learn descriptive and exploratory data analysis, with a focus on spatial and statistical visualisation to comprehend consumer behaviour patterns.Ìý
No prior experience in quantitative analysis or coding is required. Python programming and SPSS Amos are taught for data handling and modelling. By the end of the module you will proficiently use statistical and spatial data, understand key drivers of sustainable consumer behaviour, analyse customer preferences for green products, and leverage social media data for consumer feedback. These skills aim to enhance data-driven decision-making and promote sustainable consumer practices, aligning with broader sustainability goals.
