Biography

Resident slave-owner on Tobago, owner in 1819 and 1825 of Belmont estate, the compensation for which was paid to his legatees, including his son Robert, a man of colour. Registrar of Tobago. His daughter Catherine was buried at Armagh, Ireland in November 1869.
