Researchers have found it more straightforward to study the intergenerational earnings mobility of men, as women have a less consistent labour market experience, especially during the prime ages when mobility estimates are often obtained.
Jo will use use the wealth of information available in the British Cohort Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ to provide a comprehensive account of both earnings and family income mobility for men and women from ages 30-46, looking at the contributions of partnering and differential participation.
This event will be particularly useful for researchers, schools, policymakers and teachers.
Please note this is a hybrid event and can be joined either in-person or online.
