Why do you need to complete this training?

Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ is committed to ensuring a welcoming, safe and healthy working environment for all staff, students and visitors.ÌýOurÌýmandatory training pathway and courses are designed to both support Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøվ’s compliance with institutional legal responsibilities, and to equip Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ staff with the knowledge to keep themselves, each other and the community safe.

Some training only applies if you are in a particular role.ÌýYour department andÌýline manager will be able to provide clarity around what role-specific training is essentialÌýto your role.

• Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ Safeguarding Training if you work with children or adults at risk.Ìý
• Fair and Inclusive Recruitment at Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾Ìýif you are a recruiting manager, panel member or recruitment administrator.Ìý
• Understanding and protecting intellectual property for academics, research associates, professional services research support staff (e.g. all those in roles creating and handling research outputs, supporting research proposals and collaborations), innovation and enterprise support staff (e.g. business managers, partnership managers), and staff involved in procuring specialist services. Ìý
• Research Supervision if you supervise research students.Ìý
• Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ Arena for Lecturers on probation. (This course is for Lecturers only)
• Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ Arena for PGTA StaffÌý
