The EngEx worked with A-level students to think about ways communities can tackle the problems of air quality affecting Londoners
Today marked the end of a two-week study placement with A-level students Megan Goodwin and Temitope Kalejaiye. The Engineering Exchange hosted the students after they won a competitive place on the  programme, which aims to expose talented students from disadvantaged backgrounds to STEM career opportunities.
As part of their programme, the students met with a range of Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ academics working in the fields of chemistry, engineering and community engagement to hear about their work and to tour laboratories. They also visited the Walthamstow wetlands to learn about the . The students then undertook a challenge to monitor air quality in their homes and collect data which they analysed with the help of , a Teaching Fellow in the Bartlett School of the Environment, Energy and Resources.
