Before joining the Albert lab I completed a degree in Medical Engineering at Queen Mary, University of London, carrying out projects in proprioception, balance and single cell mechanics. My work in Dr Albert's lab focuses on the molecular characterization of mechanotransduction in the Drosophila auditory Johnston鈥檚 Organ, identifying the sites of action of neuroactive insecticides as well as investigating the organ鈥檚 homeostasis. Currently I am attempting to record single cell electrophysiology from auditory neurons.
