Dr Rupy Matharu, Researcher in Mechanical and Environmental Engineering and Chair of Engagement for the Institute of Healthcare Engineering has been awarded the Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ East Community Engagement Seed Fund for their project "Oh Pod! x Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾".Ìý

TheÌýOh Pod! x Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾Ìýpodcast series aims to bridge the gap between minority and marginalised communities in East London and academic researchers by facilitating open and honest discussions on mental health.

"Oh Pod! x Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾" serves as a platform for meaningful conversations between members of East London communities and academics/researchers. By fostering these dialogues, the project promotes knowledge exchange and builds trust between the public and academia. The impact of the podcast has been far-reaching, leading to positive outcomes, including the receipt of the IHE Engagement Award for Co-Production in September 2023.
