The Tim Elson Memorial Fund

The Tim Elson Memorial Fund is awarded to undergraduate year 1 students.

The award is based on financial hardship and household income, and is intended to help those that have encountered specific and unforeseen financial difficulties (evidence of hardship is required).

Key information

Value:  A one-off payment that is proportional to the Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ Bursary you are eligible for. The value of the bursary depends on income as assessed by Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ and as per the Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøվ’S main Undergraduate Bursary Scheme:Ìý

For Chemical Engineering, the values are as follows:Ìý

Less than or equal to £25,000£500
More than £25,000 and less than or equal to £37,000£400
More than £37,000 and less than or equal to £42,875£300

Available to: Eligible students currently enrolled on an undergraduate programme in Chemical Engineering in year 1 in the Academic Year 2023/24 onwards.

Email evidence of your financial position by copy of your ‘Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ Bursary Letter’ to Senior Teaching and Learning Administrator, Beth Hills (e.hills@ucl.ac.uk).
