Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ Centre for Computational Biology

The Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ Centre for Computational Biology is an interdisciplinary centre of excellence for mathematical and computational analysis of the fast-growing data in genetics and biology.

Welcome

Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ has a long history of major breakthroughs in statistics and science. The Centre for Computational BiologyÌýis directed by ProfessorÌýZihengÌýYang FRS and comprises staff from GEE and other departments within the Faculty of Life Sciences as well as Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ Department of Computer Science who work at the interface between mathematics/statistics/computer science and biology.Ìý

The Centre was established in 2010Ìýand is the latest incarnation of research excellence in this exciting and critical field at Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾.

The Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ Centre for Computational Biology was previously known as the Fisher Centre.ÌýIn the Summer of 2020, GEE took the collective decision to .Ìý
