Biography
Asif Khan founded his practice in 2007. He works internationally on cultural buildings, landscapes, exhibition design, experimental structures and artworks. His future-facing work is known for being rooted in human sensory experiences, community, craftsmanship, context and cultural heritage. Current projects include the London Museum, the Barbican, and the Tselinny Centre of Contemporary Culture in Almaty.

Asif is Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Design Museum in London. He was awarded Architect of the Year in 2018 by the German Design Council receiving an MBE for services to Architecture in 2017. He has taught at the Royal College of Art, London, and at Musashino Art University in Japan. He studied at The Bartlett School of Architecture, graduating in 2004.
